The cover is a hand written letter explaining it but in brief I've made 5 or 6 releases worth of music this year though not all of it's out yet. I thought I'd take 1 track off each and put them out as a retrospective of my year. Computer music for crying in the shower. Three of these tracks are from releases that are already out, three are from forthcoming stuff. I figured I'd make them free or pay what you want. If you give me money I'll spend it on records. I like records.

There's a little bit of drum machine, simulated modular synth, and radio sampling and recordings of sounds around my house on here. Most of the sounds are self-generated in Audacity or manipulated recordings of my voice.

Thanks to everybody who bought one of the earlier releases and who encouraged me. Encouragement's in short supply so it's high in value. Special thanks to Kerry Hindmarsh, Jase Kester, Kirk Markarian, Dom Taylor, Andy from Birthday Cake for Breakfast, Ilya from I Heart Noise, and Shah from Dead Kaczyinski.

Track 1 is from the Still Life EP. 2 is from the upcoming Shuddersounds EP. 3 is from the Cratering 2020 Highlights EP. 3 and 6 are from as yet unnamed release that I might call "falter" or "failure to communicate." 5 is from Paper Commitments, which you can get on CASSETTE at nim-brut.bandcamp.com

By the way, the title's from a Bad Religion song I relate to. I almost called this release "the poverty of his language and the wealth of his emotion bring him endless murky musings and unexpected frustration." Let it never be said I have no self control.
